the more I see. I looked again at the pinholes I made in the Cot Valley in January. I was disappointed. Not enough light, therefore 'thin' paper negatives and no real detail recoded which is what I wanted to find and record. I wrote, 'Being able to work during some of the darkest months of the year, less than a month after the hibernal or winter solstice, will enable me to investigate darkness as a shared constituent condition of photographic and mining practices / legacies'. When I look at the positives of the pinholes, I think this is what I've begun doing.
